#project ### The Garden of Eden Creation Kit (GECK) GECK is a speculation on the intelligibility of complex systems that puts an emphasis on modeling ecologies, interactions and behaviors. The work belongs to a genre of systems-sublime and focuses on the unseen and the always-changing aspects of [[worldmaking]]. The narrative of the simulation centers on a host of AI characters, who are put in charge of maintaining a complex ecosystem of a California desert. The AI are imagined as an entourage of symbolic objects, selected and placed by the users into the [[World]] of the [[simulation]], which can be affected and monitored in real time, through a custom made phone app. The project is in very early stages, some screenshots of the wip build: ![[geck05_small.png]] ![[host.png]] *A host of characters that visitors encounter in the World of the simulation. The users can “take ownership” through a blockchain based system and vote for the future actions of each AI.* ![[geckSys01.png]] *The underlying simulation runs on a series of nested dynamic system loops, all working together to produce the state of equilibrium.
